Colin Drozdoff is a Chicago based pianist. Arriving in 2012, Colin has been an active participant in the jazz, soul and indie rock scenes in the city. As a member of the collaborative jazz fusion ensemble, Spocket, Colin has been able to explore a wide range of compositional and improvisatory avenues as well as a context in which to develop tone generation, soundscapes and some of the more abstract applications of the piano (and keyboards)

Colin also brings to bear a decade plus of experience playing more traditional jazz in big band, small group and solo piano settings. He is equally well versed in the jobbing tradition with a wealth of experience (playing top 40, soul, pop, etc.). With a performing arts degree in jazz piano performance (as well as a minor in classical piano performance) from The University of Illinois, Colin is a capable and versatile member of the Chicago music scene.
